Our Mission




  Since Ebenezer's Cafe opened its first coffeehouse in Mount Laurel in June of 1995, we have aspired to bring something new to
the specialty coffee industry. We have sought to bring the best attributes of an urban coffeehouse to the suburbs. Specializing in the finest specialty coffee, delectable baked goods and imaginative savory cuisine, we offer a sophisticated, yet casual, atmosphere. By providing relaxed luxury to our patrons, we have given our customers a venue in which they can feel as if they are treating themselves without incurring undue expense.

  In broad terms, we sell affordable luxury. The ambiance created by the rich decor and friendly service enables us to make our patrons feel pampered without breaking the bank. Upon entering our cafe, one immediately notices the cherry wood, French country fireplace, and fashionable coffee bar. The comfortable furniture and stylish fixtures accent these accoutrements.

  The ambiance of relaxed luxury would not be complete without superior service. As such, we have developed an extensive training program for our employees. We teach our employees how to develop relationships with our customers. As our franchisees, we will educate you in how to cultivate relationships with your patrons that will create enduring customer loyalty. Consequently, our franchisees will compete and excel against other companies that focus more on turning over customers than serving them.

Our Customers
  Our research of our own customer base, as well as national averages, indicates that we appeal to a diverse cross-section of people. The core customer is over thirty-five years old with an average household income exceeding $60,000 per year. Most of our clientele, seventy-five percent, in fact, are women. This demographic is consistent with national averages. The men who frequent our shop usually earn more than $60,000 a year. These people have more disposable income and will buy everything from coffee and pastries to lunch and whole beans.

  In addition, we attract a sizable number of patrons who make under $30,000 per year. Although most of these customers tend to be female, all of these patrons, whether female or male, represent one of your most loyal customer bases.

  Our customers are one of our company's best selling points. Our patrons' refined taste is only surpassed by their loyalty. With some other businesses, the customer base may not represent the most pleasant clientele. In a coffeehouse, however, most of your patrons are people that you would like to associate with outside of the workplace. Because of our upscale ambiance, Ebenezer's has become a gathering place for the upwardly mobile. It is a nice place to say that you own.
